MoCool is a radiator additive which will reduce cooling system temperatures by as much as 30°F / 15°C. Best used for overheating engines or racing conditions. This performance additive offers better heat transfer than normal coolants. The unique formula also contains rust and corrosion inhibitors. Inhibits corrosion and water pup protection. Seal, ruber and plastic part friendly! Designed for aluminum, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze systems. MoCool is compatible with antifreezes, including the new long-life versions.
Designed to be used with pure distilled water at a dilution of 5% (20:1) (for competition use where monoethyleneglycol is not allowed) or mix with your coolant at 5% of volume.
This is Motul's answer to the famous Redline WaterWetter. Does MoCool work? HELL YES IT DOES! During the summertime and 100°F+ temperature, we wre experiencing very high coolant temperatures (248°F / 120°C) on our BMW 135i Time Attack Race Car. This caused the car to go into limp mode where the ECU restricted power to only 50whp which basically ruined any chance to be competitive during the race. With the MoCOOL additive, we were able to bring down temperatures below the limp mode threshold, allowing us to actually race. We have yet seen the dreaded "coolant temp" limp mode again. ER tested and approved!!!
Packaged in 500ml (16.9 fluid ounces) plastic bottles. You will need between 1 to 2 bottles (based on the coolant capacity of your car).
